Gokyo Lakes are the beauty of the Everest region. Located in Sagarmatha National Park's territory at an altitude of 4700-5000 m above sea level, these lakes are named after Gokyo Rii Peak which is stated to be the world's highest freshwater lake system. A heli ride of this package is a trip of almost half a day taking you to Gokyo Valley and Gokyo lakes within a total period of around five hours. This trip is not only about a lake visit but observing the delightful mountain's beauty as well. Taking you from Kathmandu, this heli ride is basically for those people who have less time to trek, who are not willing to take a hectic trek, who are not ready for any sort of climbing, or who don't want to be physical enough. This ride will provide you with a beautiful view of Everest along with other mountain ranges. One will get to observe the Khumbu region as well. Itinerary

7.30 AM-8.00 AM: We will brief you about the package, and process you for a scheduled helicopter flight to Gokyo Lake ride.

8.00 AM-8.40 AM: The ride will be taken to Lukla for refuelling. Stoppage for 5-10 minutes.

8.50 AM -9.30 AM: Fly to Gokyo and stop for 30-40 minutes.

9.30 AM - 9.45 AM: Fly back to Lukla and stop for refuelling.

9.50 AM - 10.30 AM: Fly To Tribhuvan International Airport Once back, Our team shall drop you to your hotel there.

Note: It is important to understand that a helicopter tour is suitable for all age groups and there is no first of altitude sickness. It is safe choice. Since this is a package of only a few hours, it would all move through short travel time. Through large transparent windows, things would be visible right in front of the eye, however there are things which are recommended to carry - warm trekking boots, water bottle, UV rays protected sunglasses, down jacket, lip balm, warm hat, snacks, camera, gloves.
