**GENERAL RULES AND RESTRICTIONS** 

To be abided by Aabishkar Travels Pvt. Ltd (Travel Agency) and the User (the Customer)

 

Aabishkar Travels Pvt. Ltd has formulated the following Rules and Restrictions to provide travel-related services to the User (the Customer) in accordance with the prevailing laws of Nepal and the principles governing the Tourism Business.

**General Rules**:

 

1. **Payment and Fees**: 

   In exchange for travel-related services rendered by Aabishkar Travels, full payment must be realized. If there are any increases in taxes or airfare, the updated charges will be communicated and applied to the customer. Bookings are subject to cancellation by the airline or Aabishkar Travels until full payment is received.

 

2. **Payment Issues**: 

   If payment is declined via cheque or credit card, the User (the Customer) will be notified as soon as possible. In such a case, the User will need to provide an alternate payment method or resolve the issue with their financial institution.

 

3. **Booking Errors**: 

   Any errors in bookings or tickets should be reported within 24 hours of receiving the email or receipt. Aabishkar Travels will not charge for deliveries within Nepal, though international deliveries will incur a courier fee. Aabishkar Travels is not responsible for loss or damage of shipments during transit.

 

4. **Airline Schedule Changes**: 

   Aabishkar Travels is not liable for schedule changes made by the airline after ticket issuance. However, if notified by the airline, we will inform the User (the Customer). It is recommended to reconfirm flight timings 24 hours before departure.

 

5. **Refunds and Penalties**: 

   All tickets are subject to date change and cancellation penalties. Partially used tickets are non-refundable, and no refunds will be granted for "No Shows." A processing fee of NPR 1,500 per ticket will apply to any full refund requests.

 

6. **Discounted Fare Tickets**: 

   Discounted fare tickets may come with specific restrictions, including the inability to upgrade to higher classes. For more information, please contact the respective airlines.

 

7. **Ticket Validity**: 

   Each ticket has a validity period within which travel must be completed. Date changes are only permitted within this validity period. For further assistance, kindly contact Aabishkar Travels.

 

8. **Mileage Programs**: 

   Aabishkar Travels does not guarantee mileage points for frequent flyer programs. Miles earned are at the discretion of the respective airline.

 

9. **Infant and Child Travel**: 

   Infants are defined as travelers under 24 months of age throughout the journey. If the infant turns 24 months before the return journey, the child fare will apply. Only one infant is permitted per adult traveler, and additional infants will be charged at the child fare rate.

 

10. **Unaccompanied Minors**: 

    Some airlines do not permit children to travel alone or with young adults (aged 12-16). Please check with our customer care team or the respective airline before making such a booking.

 

11. **Date Change and Cancellation Requests**: 

    For date change or cancellation requests, the User (the Customer) can contact our customer care team. Aabishkar Travels charges a date change service fee of NPR 200 for domestic flights and NPR 1,150 for international flights, in addition to airline penalties. A cancellation service fee of NPR 300 (domestic) and NPR 1,665 (international) will also apply.

 

12. **Indian Domestic Tickets**: 

    For tickets originating from India, Aabishkar Travels will follow the Indian Government's Civil Aviation directives and the guidelines set by our strategic partners. Cancellation penalties imposed by the airlines will apply.

 

13. **Refund Processing**: 

    Refunds for e-tickets will be processed within 7 business days, and refunds for paper tickets will take between 15 to 21 business days. Paper tickets must be returned to Aabishkar Travels for processing.

 

14. **Non-Refundable Insurance**: 

    In case of cancellation, the cost of travel insurance is non-refundable. This applies only if insurance was booked alongside the ticket.

 

15. **Booking Confirmation Issues**: 

    In rare cases, if we are unable to confirm a reservation, Aabishkar Travels will attempt to contact the User (the Customer) by phone and email. If the User does not respond within 48 hours, the original booking price may not be honored.

 

16. **Required Travel Documents**: 

    The User (the Customer) is responsible for ensuring they have all valid travel documents, including passports, tickets, visas, health certificates, and travel insurance. It is recommended to contact the consulate or airline for any document-related clarifications.

 

17. **Visa and Document Responsibility**: 

    Aabishkar Travels acts only as an intermediary for booking air tickets or hotel accommodations. Users must consult embassies, consulates, or airlines to verify visa and travel document requirements. Aabishkar Travels is not liable for any issues arising from visa or document forgery, which is the sole responsibility of the User (the Customer).
